Dermal Fillers in Houston, TX

Volume, contour, and definition — placed precisely where your face needs it.

Dermal fillers are one of the most versatile tools in aesthetic medicine, which is both their strength and the reason they’re easy to get wrong. A lot of providers use filler the same way on every face. We don’t. At FACE/FIT, every filler treatment starts with an assessment of your specific facial anatomy, the proportions that are unique to you, and a conversation about what you’re hoping to feel when you look in the mirror.

Our injectors take a conservative, full-face approach. We’d rather place less and bring you back for a touch-up than overfill on the first visit. Natural results here don’t mean subtle results, they mean results that look like you, not results that look like filler.

What Dermal Fillers Do

Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid, a substance your body produces naturally. They add volume, smooth lines, and enhance contours beneath the skin’s surface. The result is immediate and adjustable: because hyaluronic acid fillers can be partially or fully dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, they offer a level of reversibility that most other aesthetic treatments don’t.

Different filler products are formulated with different consistencies for different purposes. A filler used in the lips needs to be soft and flexible. A filler used to support the cheekbones needs more structural integrity. Our providers choose the right product for each area based on what the tissue needs not a one-product-fits-all approach.

For patients interested in longer-term volume restoration that works differently from HA fillers, we also offer Sculptra, a collagen biostimulator that rebuilds your own tissue over time rather than adding immediate volume. Because it works so differently, it has its own page where we explain it properly.

Filler Products Available at FACE/FIT

We carry multiple hyaluronic acid filler lines so we can match the right product to the right area and the right patient:

Restylane family – one of the most established HA filler lines, with specific products formulated for lips, cheeks, under-eyes, and structural support.

Revanesse -a newer generation HA filler known for a smooth, natural integration with tissue and excellent results in the lips and mid-face.

RHA Collection (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) – specifically designed to move with dynamic facial expressions rather than resisting them. Particularly well suited for areas of frequent movement like the lips and nasolabial folds.

The right product depends on where we’re treating, what the tissue needs, and how your body has responded to fillers in the past. We’ll explain our recommendation at your consultation.

Where We Use Fillers at FACE/FIT

Fillers can address a wide range of concerns depending on where they’re placed and which product is used. Each of the areas below has its own dedicated page with specific information, before/after results, and pricing details:

Lip Fillers Fuller lips, better definition, more symmetry, or just a subtle enhancement that makes your lip shape feel more like you. Our approach to lips is proportion-first, always.

Cheek Fillers Restoring midface volume is one of the most effective ways to refresh the overall face without looking “done.” Lifted cheeks change how the whole face reads.

Chin Fillers A small amount of filler in the chin can meaningfully improve profile balance and jawline definition without any surgery.

Under-Eye Fillers Tear trough filler softens the hollow that creates dark shadows and a perpetually tired appearance under the eyes. One of our most impactful single-area treatments.

Nasolabial folds and marionette lines The deeper creases that run from nose to mouth and mouth to chin respond well to filler placed strategically to restore the underlying structure rather than just filling the crease itself.

Jawline Filler along the jawline can sharpen definition, create better symmetry, and improve profile proportion – particularly effective when combined with chin filler or masseter Botox.

Temples Temple hollowing is one of the earliest and most overlooked signs of facial aging. Restoring temple volume has a subtle but significant impact on overall facial balance.

Hands Filler in the hands restores the youthful fullness that diminishes with age, reducing the appearance of prominent tendons and veins.

What to Expect

A filler treatment at FACE/FIT typically takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how many areas are being treated. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and most filler products also contain lidocaine, which further reduces discomfort during injection.

Immediately after: The treated area will be slightly swollen and may appear more prominent than the final result. This is normal and expected — don’t judge results in the first 48 hours.

Days two through seven: Swelling subsides and bruising, if any, fades. Results become clearer. Lips in particular tend to look most swollen in the first two to three days before settling.

Two weeks out: This is what we consider the true result. Most patients come back for photos at this point and this is when we assess whether any touch-up is needed.

How long it lasts: Results vary by product and area, typically six to eighteen months. Areas with more movement (lips) tend to metabolize filler faster than areas with less (temples, jawline). Staying well hydrated helps maintain results.

Is Filler Right for You?

Filler works best for patients dealing with volume loss, asymmetry, or specific contouring goals rather than skin texture or laxity concerns. If what you’re noticing is loose or crepey skin, sagging, or surface-level lines at rest, filler may not be the primary solution, and we’ll tell you that at the consultation rather than book you anyway.

Filler isn’t appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for patients with certain autoimmune conditions or active infections at the treatment site. If you’ve had complications with filler elsewhere, please let us know at your consultation; that history matters for planning your treatment safely.

One thing we take seriously: dissolving filler. If you’ve had filler placed elsewhere and aren’t happy with the results, or if old filler is causing distortion, we can dissolve it before building fresh. We see this more often than you’d think, and we’d rather start clean than layer on top of a problem.
