Peptide Therapy in Houston, TX

Targeted wellness support for recovery, anti-aging, lean muscle growth, and overall vitality.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body, directing specific biological processes including growth hormone release, cellular repair, inflammation regulation, and metabolic function. Because they work by communicating with your body’s existing systems rather than overriding them, they tend to produce results that feel gradual and natural rather than dramatic and sudden.

At FACE/FIT, peptide therapy is offered as part of our broader wellness approach: evidence-informed treatments that support how your body performs from the inside out. We offer Sermorelin, NAD+, and GLP-1 therapy as our primary named protocols, alongside a broader range of peptide options available through consultation. All peptides are sourced through a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy and prescribed based on your individual lab work and goals.

What We Offer

Sermorelin

Sermorelin is a growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) analogue that stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and release more of your own growth hormone. Rather than replacing growth hormone directly, it works by supporting your body’s natural production, which declines with age beginning in the late twenties and continuing progressively through the decades.

The effects of optimized growth hormone levels are broad: improved body composition with increased lean muscle and reduced fat, better sleep quality (growth hormone is primarily secreted during deep sleep), faster recovery from exercise and injury, improved skin quality and collagen production, and better overall energy and vitality.

Sermorelin is typically administered via subcutaneous injection (a small needle just under the skin) before bed to align with the body’s natural growth hormone release cycle. Most patients administer it themselves at home after a brief instruction session at their initial appointment.

Who it’s well suited for: adults over 30 experiencing the gradual effects of declining growth hormone, including reduced muscle mass despite training, slower recovery, increased body fat particularly around the midsection, disrupted sleep, and reduced energy.

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide)

NAD+ is a coenzyme present in every cell of the body that plays a central role in energy metabolism, DNA repair, and cellular aging processes. NAD+ levels decline significantly with age and are further depleted by alcohol consumption, poor sleep, chronic stress, and inflammation. Restoring NAD+ levels has become one of the more compelling areas in longevity and anti-aging medicine.

At FACE/FIT, NAD+ is administered via injection, which delivers the compound directly into the bloodstream for full absorption rather than the partial absorption and degradation that occurs with oral NAD+ precursors.

Effects patients report from NAD+ therapy include improved mental clarity and focus, better energy levels, improved mood and resilience to stress, enhanced physical performance and recovery, and a general sense of feeling more like themselves. The research base continues to grow and includes interesting findings around neurological function, metabolic health, and cellular repair.

Who it’s well suited for: patients interested in longevity and anti-aging support, those dealing with significant fatigue or cognitive fog, patients recovering from high alcohol consumption or chronic stress, and anyone who wants to support cellular health over the long term.

GLP-1 Therapy (Semaglutide / Tirzepatide)

GLP-1 receptor agonists including semaglutide and tirzepatide have fundamentally changed the conversation around weight management. Originally developed for type 2 diabetes management, these medications work by mimicking the GLP-1 hormone that regulates appetite, insulin secretion, and gastric emptying. The result is reduced appetite, improved metabolic function, and significant sustainable weight loss for the majority of patients who use them appropriately.

At FACE/FIT, GLP-1 therapy is offered in the context of a comprehensive wellness plan that addresses body composition, metabolic health, and the aesthetic consequences of significant weight change. Losing weight on GLP-1 medications often produces skin laxity concerns that we address with Attiva RF and Liquid BBL as part of a coordinated plan.

Who it’s well suited for: adults with a BMI above 27 who have not achieved sustained results through diet and exercise alone, patients with metabolic health concerns, and patients who want to address body composition as part of a broader wellness and aesthetic plan.

Additional Peptides

We offer a broader range of peptide protocols beyond the three listed above. Because the regulatory landscape around peptides continues to evolve, we discuss additional options at consultation rather than publishing a comprehensive list. If you’re researching a specific peptide and wondering whether we offer it, the best next step is to book a consultation and ask directly.

All peptides we prescribe are sourced through a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy, which means they’re patient-specific prescriptions compounded under state pharmacy board oversight. This is a meaningful distinction from the unregulated peptide sources that exist online and represents a significantly higher standard of quality, purity, and safety.

How It Works

Initial consultation and lab work: Peptide therapy at FACE/FIT begins with a consultation and a lab panel appropriate to your goals. The initial blood work for peptide therapy is $150 and evaluates the relevant biomarkers for the protocol being considered: growth hormone markers for Sermorelin, metabolic and inflammatory panels for NAD+, and appropriate metabolic screening for GLP-1 therapy.

Protocol development: Your provider reviews your lab results alongside your symptoms, health history, and goals to develop a personalized peptide protocol. The specific peptide, dose, frequency, and administration method are all determined based on this individual assessment.

Administration: Most peptides at FACE/FIT are currently administered via subcutaneous injection. These are small, fine needles placed just under the skin, similar to the insulin injections used by diabetic patients. Most patients self-administer at home after an instruction session. Your provider will walk you through the technique before you leave your first treatment appointment.

Monitoring: Ongoing monitoring varies by protocol. Some peptide therapies benefit from periodic lab work to track progress and adjust dosing. Others are more straightforward. We’ll outline the monitoring plan for your specific protocol at your consultation.

Goals We Support

Patients come to peptide therapy at FACE/FIT with a range of goals. The most common include:

Anti-aging and longevity: Supporting the cellular and hormonal processes that decline with age, slowing the physiological consequences of that decline, and maintaining the kind of vitality that makes daily life feel more like it did ten years ago.

Recovery: Faster recovery from exercise, injury, illness, or the general demands of a high-output life. Both Sermorelin and NAD+ have meaningful effects on recovery speed and quality.

Lean muscle growth and body composition: Optimizing growth hormone and metabolic function to support lean muscle development and reduce body fat, particularly for patients who are already training and not seeing the results their effort should produce.

Weight management: GLP-1 therapy for patients whose weight management challenges have a genuine metabolic component and who want medical support beyond lifestyle changes alone.

General wellness and vitality: Feeling genuinely well, energized, and mentally sharp. Sometimes the goal isn’t addressing a specific problem but supporting the baseline from which everything else operates.

All peptide treatments start with a consultation

Why Source From a 503A Pharmacy

503A compounding pharmacies are licensed by state pharmacy boards and operate under strict quality and safety standards. They produce medications for individual patients based on a valid prescription from a licensed provider. The active ingredients they use are pharmaceutical grade. Their facilities are subject to regular inspection.

The peptides sold through unregulated online vendors and research chemical suppliers operate under none of these standards. There is no quality control, no verification of purity or concentration, and no medical oversight. The risk of contamination, mislabeling, and dosing errors is real.

At FACE/FIT, every peptide we prescribe comes from a licensed 503A pharmacy, dispensed against a valid patient-specific prescription from our providers. This is the appropriate standard of care and the only sourcing approach we use.

Is Peptide Therapy Right for You?

Peptide therapy is appropriate for adults in good general health who want to support specific wellness goals through evidence-informed treatment. It’s not a substitute for foundational health habits, sleep, nutrition, and exercise, but it can meaningfully support and amplify the results of those habits when the underlying biology needs support.

A consultation is the right starting point regardless of which peptide or protocol you’re interested in. We’ll review your health history, discuss your goals, order appropriate lab work, and give you an honest picture of what’s realistic.

Peptide therapy is not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Certain health conditions and medications may affect eligibility for specific protocols. We review all of this at consultation.
